「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. 「Helpful staff. Excellent service at breakfast - especially the waitress working on her own on Saturday- very efficient. Tea/ coffee station in reception to help yourself was appreciated. Very convenient for the town centre. Would have liked breakfast to be served until 10.30am on Easter Monday rather than 10am.」
