"The apartment was divided into two spaces on separate floors. The 2nd floor space was a bedroom and bath, it was very moldy smelling with no windows. My daughter slept on the sofa in our space because it was so musty. There was a fan that just blew the musty air around. The apartment is in a great location."

Slightly disappointed with the quality of the double bed. The wooden slats under the mattress kept being dislodged as you sat on the bed, causing the mattress to fold into the gaps. Recommend that the slats be secured to the bed frame. Constant hot water to the shower and bathroom sink, but the water feeding the kitchen...

"I adored this little apartment. The location was perfect for exploring Valletta - the room is very close to the main pedestrian streets but it’s on a quiet street so you get the perfect balance. "What a great property, located to Easley have access to three or four bus routes that take you everywhere on the island for just a few euros. Lots of great food options close by and a grocery store just down the hill. The staff was so quick to communicate and very helpful. Thank you so much!"

We were located in the heart of a beautiful medieval neighborhood, just 15 minutes by car from Valletta and 10 minutes by boat (only €2). "We stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands in Malta and had a fantastic time. The location is absolutely amazing. Golden Bay is a beautiful spot, and the hotel makes the most of it with great views, easy access to the beach and plenty of space around the pool areas. It is a big hotel, but it never felt too cramped or overcrowded, especially at breakfast, which was really well organised. The breakfast was excellent, with a brilliant buffet and plenty of choice. They also offer buffet lunch and dinner, and we ate at the buffet dinner one evening, which was fantastic. Some of the food the chefs were putting out was genuinely like a work of art, and the quality was much better than you would normally expect from a buffet. The staff were also brilliant. Everyone was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, which made the stay feel really relaxed and easy. One of the best features is the lift down to the private beach, which is fantastic. There are also activities like jet skiing available right there, although the jet skis were a little pricey. That said, it is great having everything so easily available on site. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel for a family holiday. It is a great place to be by the beach, around the pools, and spending time with the kids. Brilliant location, great food, excellent staff and a really enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend it."

"We stayed 4 nights at Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa and had a great stay. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a nice stay. When we arrived, our room was decorated with heart balloons, towel art, and plastic rose petals, and they provided a delicious chocolate treat for us. Unfortunately, the room we were allocated was right between the housekeeping utility closet and the fire exit/stairwell, so the slamming doors were very loud. After the first 2 nights, staff were able to accommodate a room change and we were switched to a beautiful room that overlooked ocean and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mellieħa church for our last 2 nights. One (minor) thing we didn't like was the extremely heavy perfume smell in the lobby. The hotel was very clean, and the three pools and fitness center were great! We particularly liked the rooftop adults only pool. The hotel was located near many restaurants and in the quiet community of Mellieha."

"Great waterside location , with super pool, mini beach and large rooms. However, as others mention, the property is dated- the bathroom especially needed a refurb. The hotel had a 1980s feel of an establishment that was once grand but just didn’t move with the times. That said, the staff are helpful, the pool is a plus point to cool down in after a day of sight seeing and there is a free shuttle bus to take you up the hill into town ."

"ROOM; clean & efficient. A/C worked but got quite cold without an extra blanket. TV offered 2 to 3 terrestrial channels in English (I should have brought my Roku?). Balcony & appointment had a great view but every night a bright lower light came on that would shine to the head of the bed; curtains didn’t help & light shone from hallway under door too. BAR: Lovely 1st floor bar with unshaded & hot terrace - oddly, no one invests in fans in Malta? There was another bar & cafe downstairs if you wanted to sit indoors. RESTAURANTS: a couple belonging to hotel & a couple that didn’t, I guess. As breakfast was included, comprising of a fairly extensive buffet, it gave me a sampling of what it offered. Didn’t care for the breakfast much; mundane for my taste so I ended up with cooked porridge. People were stuffing extras to take with them but after being stopped for taking an apple…? I ate in the other place downstairs & had a truly full salad from one of the outsiders. STAFF: wonderful!! Hard workers too! WORST Bit: the pools closed at 7pm so unless you want to risk the dark & pretty harrowing sea? I was told on two occasions that the only other pool was underground in the Spa. I had seen another pool outside on the map., but told twice no. On the last day I asked about this pool again & they finally agreed it was there but ‘only for a section of the hotel’ & it was very small apparently. BEST: Lovely front of house manager lady!"

"My family of five (all adults) stayed in two rooms at the Holiday Inn Express Malta by IHG for four nights. The hotel is at a perfect location, close to shops, the beach, restaurants, and plenty of night life. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms with a balcony have a beautiful view of the beach — though it does get loud at night because of the bars and clubs below. Quieter rooms are available on the other side of the building. We thoroughly enjoyed the perks of accessing some of the Intercontinental facilities, including the rooftop and indoor pools, gym, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge. Note that many locals have a membership to the gym and they have access to the same facilities so things do get busy in the evenings. What makes this hotel special are the people. Thank you to Gvantsa at the front desk for finding us two rooms on the same floor, and for moving us after multiple attempts to get the air conditioning to work. Also, thanks to Jenny from housekeeping for making our sofa bed extra comfortable by adding two duvet covers as a topper. Finally, thank you to Saviour from the breakfast team for going above and beyond to celebrate our parent’s anniversary with a glass of champagne. The staff truly made our stay in Malta special."

"Our room was classed as a Superior city view, but was dark with a small balcony overlooking a narrow side street. The room was clean and comfortable but nothing outstanding. The breakfast was mediocre, with no variety day on day. Usual lukewarm basic selection although you can request to have it in the Executive breakfast room on the top floor which has outside seating and wonderful views. Disappointed that there is no outdoor pool, but you do have free access to Aqualuna across the road. Also disappointing is that there are no outdoor areas to sit or any bar or restaurant facilities during the day. The staff are lovely and friendly and the location is great, but I think there are better options along the seafront in Sliema."
