My only advice would be that travelers should know that it is about a 4-5 hour car ride from the airport in Denpasar. "A quiet relaxing two week stay. Our housekeeper made it for us. Komang cooked amazing food, kept Villa clean and tidy and also did our laundry. Location was a bit remote and beach polluted. The gardens are beautiful and well kept (thank you kadek) In all honesty the Villa does need maintenance. Floor tiles need replacing as cracked, kitchen needs an upgrade. There is no oven or dishwasher as advertised in description. False advertising unfortunately Vrbo!"

"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "We fully enjoy our stay. Etta and Kadek are fabulous cooks. Dharma drove us everywhere and made great suggestions. Budi our house manager was there if we needed anything The main issue we had were the wild dogs ….fighting most of the day and through some of the night. The coffee machine needs an update which we told the owners . It is a great place to relax. Also both ladies gave fantastic massages. "

"We enjoyed our stay here overall. However, the VRBO listing indicates that the welcome dinner and following breakfast are included with your stay (obviously you pay for groceries). This is only the case if you are staying here for 7 or more days which is not mentioned in the VRBO listing. For our family of 4 to have breakfast and dinner prepared by the villa staff would have cost 1.2 million rupiah per day plus the cost of groceries. Much cheaper to eat out or order in in Bali! The villa is very nice, location is excellent and the pool is very refreshing with plenty of shade."
