“The house was a bit run down but overall okay. Glad they allowed our dogs which is hard to find. The curtains in the rooms don’t block any light so that’s crappy since it was so bright in the room for sleeping. It just felt really run down and like they put the bare minimum into it (missing curtain sections, had a smell which I’m sure is why they had an air purifier, and not cozy at all). ”

“The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights. ”

“Great location in the heart of Forest Park. Nice gathering space for the family and a beautiful deck. Since we will be coming back, I am providing feedback here I would not normally to help the homeowner out. It’s time for a new couch, not only is it stained, it’s also uncomfortably soft. And the bathroom door wouldn’t close. Actually the bedroom doors also need some attention to close properly and quietly. Inexplicably we ran out of facial tissue, and dishwasher detergent.
