“This is the second time we've stayed in Jasmine Cottage. It's the perfect size for a family of three and has everything you need to feel at home. It's decorated to a high standard and the animal theme in each room is a fun touch. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, which is a bonus. The cottages are set in a very peaceful location in Marldon, which is only a short drive from bustling Paignton. There's so much to do in the local area and something for everyone. We had a lovely time.”

“The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. “We stayed as a family of 4 in a superior apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and has been decorated really modern with nice touches. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the apartment could have been better for me. The sofa bed bedding was all in a ball in a cupboard, none of it was folded up or placed nicely so the bedding and pillows had dust and bits of rubbish on. “We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village.”
