This is a hotel/hostel. We had a room with a private bathroom. The room locks are really funky and make a considerable amount of noise when operating. There were things that need attention (ie armoire was missing a door, bathtub floor was very slippery and another bedside table would be nice). Overall it was a good stay.

Lovely place to stay near Park Guel. It retains it's old fashioned feel but with some extra touches. Buffet breakfast is available 24/7 if one is a little peckish. There is a nice veranda at the front to sit ot and read or relax. The only minor issue is that since it's a period property the doors to rooms aren't airtight so you can hear if other people come in late at night but no one came in too late or was to noisy and it's on a hill so every walk back burns off a few extra calories. Staff were really helpful with check in and cafes & supermarkets nearby. Ideal for a short break for singles or a couple.

Stayed here for spring break and have no complaints at all. Staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions or requests and services were amazing. The breakfast/snack selection was also fantastic. Would absolutely recommend Verdi 254.

A lovely place to stay in Barcelona! A little out of the way from downtown, but easy to get anywhere by metro (about 8 min walk to the metro). My room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was amazing (available all day!), and Thai was very friendly and helpful! I would love to stay here again!

There was excellent food and drink available in the common area every day. The property is a beautiful old house that has many plants around it. It is super close to Parque Grüel

At first I thought that it was not clean but upon further investigation I realized that the floor tiles were old and discolored. I did not expect a shared bathroom. Area for walking was OK but hilly. Breakfast foods were plentiful and delicious, and all day!!!

We felt very comfortable during our entire stay. The house with the garden is truly an oasis of well-being and yet not far from the metro. The path to the house is a bit steep, we were only traveling with backpacks, so not a big problem. We received a very warm welcome and were always warmly looked after during our stay. We had a delicious breakfast (cheese, ham, bread/toast| muesli, fruit and vegetables) and were able to linger in the garden for a long time. Verdi 254 is definitely recommendable.

What you don’t see from the listed photos is the gorgeous facade of the building. It is recessed from the street so when you arrive there is a real sense of wow. We had room 8 with private bathroom and shared terrace. You also don’t see there is access to the roof with a fab view! Very close to metro which we used to get around, and to park Guell. Being able to have a snack whenever was a great feature, as was a map that was left in our room. Very happy with our stay here

Fantastic stay highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Liliana the maid was super welcoming on arrival, who really made us feel at home from the get go. I do speak Spanish so was able to communicate well but she does have limited English. The breakfast every day was free and such a great spread of fruit, juices, cheese, muesli, biscuits, cakes, delicious coffee and OAT MILK which I was so happy about as it doesn’t often happen in places. It was great to sit and have breakfast on the terrace before we went out for the day. It’s really quiet, easy access, free water to fill bottles for the day and a fridge if you want to store food. Towels and shampoo/conditioner provided. Slight drawback is sharing a bathroom but this was only with 1 other room and it was always left really clean so we didn’t find it a problem. The house really is yours to roam around in. The location was really great for us as we walked down into Vila de Gracia every evening which takes 10 or 15 mins. The nearest metro is Lesseps which is about 5 mins walk and takes you to the airport via a few metro changes. The other metro is Joanic which takes you to the beach. It’s also right near Park Guell if that interests you. Overall would highly recommend!

This is a great little place with a buffet breakfast one can tuck into 24/7 The only downsides are no table with a table in the room and it's positioned up a hill so every walk back to the hotel includes an uphill struggle lol Staff were very friendly and it's only 7 mins walk from Park Guell too

Staff were all very friendly and helpful! Free 24-hour food/drink selection in the kitchen lobby was fabulous. Nice porch/terrace with tables was lovely with all the beautiful flor & fauna around. Location was perfectly walkable to local attractions (if you can handle hills!) with some gorgeous city views. Bus stops just down the hill. I enjoyed my stay!
