“The staff very nice and the place is very good”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Jailer's Inn. The staff were amazing, the location couldn't be better and our accommodations were wonderful. I definitely would recommend staying at this fabulous Bed and Breakfast.”

“The motelier was great. Stayed up waiting for my arrival. Woke up in the middle of the night to give me a new key. Thank you. The sheet on the bed was thin. Had to get my own blanket. The bathroom was in need of some age-related repairs. Otherwise, a great clean room. Nice look on the outside. Easily accessible, though a bit outside of town. Most reasonably priced properties are within an hour's drive of Churchill Downs on Derby weekend. That was an asset!”

“The history of The Talbott Inn is very interesting. It was so cool to stay in an inn with such a rich history. I stayed in the Jesse James room and I loved it. Not a big room but was perfectly comfortable and very quiet. It was great having a historic room with modern amenities. Highly recommend staying at The Talbott Inn if you love American history.”

“The front desk staff was polite and friendly but she was busy fielding phone and waiting guests. The room was clean but the shower had low water flow. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and the location with several restaurants was helpful.”

“First off the hotel doesn’t look anything like the website. The place had a weird smell to it. The hallway and room smelled. I have a CPAP machine and had to change the filter when I got home because the smell was in the filter. We paid for 2 nights and checked out after one. I told the front desk clerk we were checking out early. They didn’t even ask why or anything. They offered a continental breakfast but we pasted on it because of the condition of the hotel. We had breakfast elsewhere. Do……
