They have still not gotten the bugs out. They opened in June. Some of the front desk girls were slightly rude. They would tell you they were going to fix a broken toilet or missing water in the room & then not. We had to ask several times. At the restaurant, they had an all-day menu on the table, but when we went to order, the waiter who was also rude told us that menu is not in play. It was frustrating. There is great potential and the place is done over beautifully. The staff is the problem.

The hotel was lovely. I didn’t eat at the restaurant because I knew it would be overpriced. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were friendly. There was plenty of things to do in Bari! I walked everywhere. I loved it. The only criticisms about the hotel is that the walls were very thin. I heard everything. Inside and outside. That being said, everyone is mindful of this, and it wasn’t a big deal. Also, the rooms were very hot. I was uncomfortable at times and the air conditioning was not what I was accustomed to as an American, however, I opened the window and that helped a ton! I would definitely stay again.

Gute Lage direkt an der Altstadt. Dass es keine Parkplätze gibt, war bekannt. Allerdings war es schon eine Herausforderung, lange genug anhalten zu können, um das Gepäck zu entladen. Das Hotel war eine merkwürdige Mischung aus neu gemacht und alten Details. Zimmer an sich sehr schön. Etwas sauberer wäre auf jeden Fall möglich. Der Service war in Summe bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Die Dame beim Check-in war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, das es an unserem ersten Tag bis 11:00 Uhr geben sollte, wurde bereits um 10:45 Uhr rigoros abgebaut. Service am Tisch bekam man bereits ab 10:30 Uhr nicht mehr, meinen Kaffee musste ich mir regelrecht erjagen. Beim Check-out wurde mir Hilfe mit den Koffern angeboten, als ich gerade das letzte Gepäckstück aus dem Hotel schleifte. Alle vorher auch schon unter den Augen des zahlreich anwesenden Personals. Alles in allem ok. Aber dem vermeintliche Anspruch, den man vor sich herträgt, wird man definitiv nicht gerecht.

The hotel has recently been refurbished to a Movenpick hotel and is still not quite finished! On our floor they were still renovating rooms. Our bedroom had frosted glass window as it looked out onto a horrible view of pipes and metal units it also smelt of drains .The rooms are not soundproof so we were woken up at 1:30 by people in room next door talking loudly and having tv up loud The bathroom was ill thought out no storage space for toiletries just one sink The bathroom floods when you use the shower because the panels are not long enough. Breakfast was chaotic no space between tables on the terrace so people constantly bumping into our chairs including staff. Management need to get a grip ! Would not stay here again.

The location is perfect, the breakfast view is beautiful and the hotel and rooms are fresh. The negative parts where mainly that 1) the breakfast options where limited and could barely find something that I wanted to eat, 2) the water pressure in the shower 3) did not feel that the bedding was hygiene since the pillow cases are open on the side

Property was conveniently located & pleasntly anointed. Apart from Jada ( who was smart & understood our needs) the staff needs a lot to be desired. The hotel is ill equipped to take care of an injured customer. When I needed some medical attention, a couple of staff members were really insensitive & sent us on a long taxi ride 45 minutes away. The clinic we were sent to did not even open until 8pm. Now we were stuck in the middle of nowhere with a language barrier could not find a way to get back. After a 4 hour ordeal we finally arrived back at the hotel. Jada arranged for a doctor to come to see me. I did not understand why Noemi could not do the same. She knew the extent of my injuries & yet sent me on a trip so far away. The doctor was available & was right behind the hotel. This was maddening & very insensitive. I will not be staying at the Movenpick anytime in the future

Splendida struttura, vicinissima al centro, al lungomare ed a Bari Vecchia. Molto comodo. Bellissima la terrazza per la colazione ed il bar per l'aperitivo. Camera molto ampia,dotata di tutti i comfort. Sicuramente dovessimo tornare a Bari, il Mövenpick sarà la nostra prima scelta!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Mövenpick in Bari from August 27–29, 2025, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was highly professional and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Even a minor check-in issue was resolved quickly and with genuine kindness, reflecting the team’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Breakfast was a true highlight: not only was the service outstanding, but the venue also offered a breathtaking view of the old town and waterfront, making every morning feel special. What stood out most, however, was the thoughtful care shown when a personal item—a nightgown—was misplaced. The staff promptly located it and delivered it back to us, a gesture that perfectly exemplifies their dedication and hospitality. Overall, the Mövenpick Bari provided a seamless and memorable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and look forward to returning on future trips.
