“A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended……

“The Bar Lodge is wonderfully comfortable, clean and welcoming. The hosts were helpful in every way. The East Yorkshire area offers many historical and outdoor sites.”

“This is a lovely property. Nice and clean, well equipped and in beautiful grounds with lakes and wildlife. We enjoyed feeding the geese - and were allowed to see some baby chicks that had just hatched. Barbara was on hand to help with anything we needed, and had provided a leaflet with local things to do and takeaways that delivered to site. Excellent stay, we will no doubt be booking again.”

“The property was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. The house we were in was ideal for us. The house itself was really nicely finished, there was tons of space and it was in a beautiful setting. My young daughter really enjoyed going out to say hello to the chickens in the morning.”

“We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. The lounge was spacious and the tv in the lounge and bedroom had channels and internet access for using Netflix, YouTube, etc. The lodge is tastefully decorated and very cosy. The……

“Brilliant stay at the Alpaca Lodge! Julie was very welcoming and we arrived early but this wasnt an issue as we were able to get the keys straight away. The alpacas Lodge was cosy and had everything we needed. We loved the bingo at the Alpacas Arms and feeding the Alpacas. We will definitely be back.”

“The owners are very nice and obviously love their garden. The house was comfortable. However with a few tweaks our stay could have been fantastic. We have pointed these out to the owners, but in particular as mentioned previously particulars should be amended to reflect that the George and Dragon is now closed.”

“This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. “We were visiting family in Hull for a short, unexpected while and found this flat last minute. The location was great and we easily walked pretty much everywhere we needed in Beverley itself, and the parking spot was an added bonus for our car (though it was a tight spot, our Vauxhall Corsa just about fit). The flat was well equipped with the basics, and very comfortable, and Katie was very accommodating and a delight to talk to when we had questions. Friday through Sunday night got a bit loud……

“The owner had mislaid my booking, and then the room was already occupied by someone else. Waited for an hour outside the property with minimal responses. Had to give up and find somewhere else instead.”

“Some aspects of the property are getting tired. Grout around bath/shower in both rooms going black with mould growth (white grout with black growth spots) carpets stained and dirty just really needs some more attention on deep cleaning and it’ll be back to the standard expected of such an establishment ”

“三日兩夜。酒店似由學校宿舍改建，所以壓迫感較強，房間偏向細。早餐難食，最普通的炒蛋都難食，而附近很早都有早餐，所以不用加錢給酒店食早餐。唯一優勢是酒店非常近車站，一分鐘就到，而旁邊有商場，可以買水及零食。”
