“The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is……

“We wanted a place not too far from home just to unwind and relax. Adorable clean little cottage. Close to so many things - yet you feel like you are out far away. Beautiful land and pond that we walked several times with our dogs. Hosts were so kind and informative. We definitely will be back again to this little hidden gem!”

“Very clean apartment, super kitchen, with a great location in the 8th Street design district, walkable to everything interesting, good places to eat nearby. The host was very friendly and informative, and when we had a (very minor) glitch was quick to respond with the remedy.”

“No issues with the property at all. The area it’s in appears to be undergoing a renewal of sorts. Looks like it will be nicer in the future or at least the potential is there. ”

“It was a nice place. The back stairs carpet could be replaced. Christmas decorations probably need to be taking down. Front step is very wobbly. A roof over the hot tub would be nice. We enjoyed our time there.”

“The apartment is very nice and has a great location near the soccer stadium. The place was very clean. No complaints about the apartment and the property manager was very communicative. Coming and going was very easy with the door lock app. Just to clarify, there is a queen bed, a rollaway bed, and a blowup bed for adults. The futon is too small for an adult. The blowup was a lifesaver as we were 3 guys in town for baseball and sharing beds was not an option.”

“Really cute 3rd floor walk up. 2 bedrooms beautiful space & views. We were able to walk everywhere from baseball park to Finley market. Tons of bars & restaurants close by. Would definitely stay again.”

“The house was an historic brownstone with some beautiful original features. We had trouble with the door locking mechanism not working but Vicki was quick to respond to my message and they came to fix it within a few hours. The neighborhood was a little sketchy as it was adjacent to a gas station and had a bus stop across the street, but it was close to a variety of attractions .”
