Perfection with a view

A fantastic place to stay just off the main stream, a lovely village with 2 good place to eat, the guest house was immaculate and would rate top star rating Jo and Tim were excellent hosts nothing to much for them, peace and quite guaranteed.

A Home from Home

Jo and Tim gave us a great welcome. Everything about our stay was as we had hoped. The room and en-suite facilities were excellent and the breakfasts very tasty. Fresh milk in a communal fridge was much appreciated. There is ample private parking at the property and an excellent local bus service for visitors not wanting to drive much after arrival. For evening meals we used the two local pubs - 5/10 minutes walk away. Both have a good menu. We used the Old Parsonage House as a base to visit family and friends, and will definitely book another visit when time allows.

Tim and Joe were fabulous. It was like going home after a day of touring. By far the best B&B experience we have ever had. Although we were only there for 3 days my wife got emotional when it was time to leave almost as though we were leaving old friends. Very quiet, clean and beautifully updated. Not intrusive just caring hosts with great advice and excellent breakfast. The poached eggs were the best.

One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in!

Our stay at Old Parsonage House was brilliant. Jo and Tim were friendly and welcoming hosts. They accommodated our late check in request and provided recommendations on where to park in Bath, where to eat, gave us maps and helped us in with our luggage. The B&B is stunningly beautiful and very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I don't think you can get better value for money. 100% recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful stay at Old Parsonage House. Lovely hosts. Very clean. Stayed in the family room which had a separate twin room. (Family of four) Great breakfast. Everything we needed. Short walk to local pubs. Good base to visit places of interest /tourist attractions nearby.

Very unhelpful owner.

Owner refused to change booking even though I was not going because of a Covid risk that could not be avoided. I explained politely to the owner but didn't even receive an apology just a like it or lump it attitude and basically told to go away. I understand it was late notice but so was the positive Covid test. Lovely getting treated badly for being responsible. Could have taken the lost money if they were nice about it but they were helpful or understanding at all. It says free cancellation but they require 48 hours. Also, be aware they only have 3 hours window to check in.

The minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome Jo is very friendly and helpful. Tim's breakfasts were spot on eggs perfect everytime, good choice of breakfast and could have more if you wanted it.but breakfast and toast set us up for the day of exploring. Our bedroom and bed was HUGE modern furnishings and very comfortable, the shower was fantastic and always hot. Had an Amazing stay and would highly recommend to anyone to go and stay.

Great weekend stay in the family suite, 2 rooms with a short corridor between the rooms - 1 twin, 1 double and 1 en suite off the double room. Perfect for teenage children. V covid safe.

The Old Parsonage was stunning. A very beautiful place with lovely people to greet you and ensure your stay is as nice as possible. Very quiet location and with only 5 rooms it was peaceful too. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Really lovely place to stay, Jo and Tim were wonderful, welcoming hosts. The property is in a great location for several local attractions and there are a couple of nice pubs within walking distance for your evening meal. The breakfast at the Old Parsonage was also top notch!!! Highly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
