Before you book make sure you become a member via the Z Hotel site. Note that between 10am and 6pm you can’t drive close to hotel so dropping luggage can be problematic - we got a parking ticket while we dropped ours. And if you don’t have membership, do not try and help yourself to coffee downstairs - you will be shouted at in front of whomever is in the lobby which can be humiliating. Don’t stay in a room with someone you aren’t completely comfortable with. There is absolutely no privacy in the room and you can hear every sound made in the bathroom. The mattress is also very hard!

Never heard of Z Hotel before. Am I ever glad I found it. The staff is amazing. Every single one of them. The rooms though small are all that you need. Amazingly luxurious. For the price you can't beat it. 1000 times better than any ABnB but for less money. I wish I had planned my trip better and had spent more time in Bath and therefore would had more time at the Z. Our first stay in a Z Hotel and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well equipped - thank you for the larger than normal coffee cups in the room! Complimentary cheese and crackers in the afternoon (lovely!) and we had an inexpensive but really lovely breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Customer service was exceptional.

This hotel is in such a convenient location with lots of dining and drinking options around! The rooms are quite small, but we didn't need to spend much time in the room anyway since we were too busy exploring! Staff was so sweet and welcoming, and we just adored this hotel and location!

This was my first time visiting Bath and staying at a Z Hotel, and I was really impressed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. Liam at reception offered great local tips and chatted with me while I enjoyed the free evening wine. Richard, the Manager, was also lovely and had a great sense of humour. The room was spotless, stylish, and surprisingly spacious, with one of the best showers I’ve ever used. The location is ideal — right in the centre near pubs and restaurants, yet completely quiet inside. It’s also only a 5 minute drive from the train station. Breakfast was well worth it — fresh food, a great selection, a peaceful atmosphere, and top-notch barista-style coffee ☕️ I will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bath ❤️
