The undercover entertaining area and BBQ are well set up for an evening in, and the two living areas give larger groups plenty of room to settle at their own pace. All three bedrooms are well-appointed and comfortable, with the study nook offering a practical extra sleeping space when needed.

Peel House is on the southern edge of Bathurst's CBD, within easy walking distance of the city centre. The Dudley Hotel — 450 metres away — serves up meals in a recently refurbished family-friendly bistro. Brilliant Street Cafe is 700 metres away on the Mitchell Highway, known for its Allpress coffee and loyal local following. Crema on George and Sweet Caramel are both a short walk into the CBD. Machattie Park, a heritage Victorian park with gardens, a duck pond and an ornate water fountain, is just around the corner. Within three blocks you'll also find the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and Armada Shopping Centre.
