「I was pleasantly surprised overall about my stay at the kiwi hotel. I had room #1 which was conveniently next to the shower. The room was neat, clean, and the bed comfortable. Minimal noise out the window at night. Staff was so welcoming and accommodating, making me a cup of coffee and ushering me into the living room to rest. Price is incredible and a short walk from the intercity bus stop. Close to Polynesian Spa and the main downtown area. Next to a delicious Korean fried chicken...

「We had a lovely stay at this property, everything was perfect! 」

「The property was beautiful. The estuary was literally our front yard and even though the weather was grey and overcast most of the time, it was still a lovely view to wake up to. Emma was great to deal with. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet, but she was always easy to contact if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here. It's stunning 」

「The Shed Retreat is an ideal getaway location for a Rotorua visit. It's only 20 minutes from the city centre but feels miles away given its rural locale. Great interior decor, a super-comfy bed and of course the cedar spa pool with its view is outstanding. Can't recommend it highly enough.」

「Loved everything about our stay. Great location, hospitable owners, beautiful grounds, cute chickens. Clean room and comfy bed, not en-suite but private bathroom for every room, hot shower with very good shower pressure, lovely common kitchen and lounge areas. Would have stayed longer had we could! 」

「Roomy and tidy cottage is a delight. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Good location just out of the build up area of Tauranga. Shops and restaurants nearby, all very convenient.」

「We were booked in for the guesthouse but when we got here really wanted to stay multiple nights and were given the option to move into a wing of the homestead at the same rate which was a generous option -- Frances and Julian are wonderful. 」
