“The house was exactly as described. The neighborhood was very peaceful. The pool and backyard were surrounded by mature trees that gave you complete privacy. The location of the house was only minutes from downtown Laurel. I would highly recommend this rental!”

“Cottage Mason was so cute and well decorated. Perfect for my Mom & I with 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. Beds were comfortable and clean. We loved the kitchen including a Keurig featuring both coffee & tea! We appreciated the bathroom amenities of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Perfect location to downtown. The only thing missing were dish cloths & towels in the kitchen. Plenty of bath towels and cloths so we improvised. The host was great and responded very well to questions!”

“This place is wonderful. It's very roomy. There's three bathrooms and two of them have showers in them. Everything was provided for us. Nice large kitchen with a large island. They have a dart board, and horseshoes, and other games to keep you entertained. There's three thermostats in the cabin which allows you to have warmer or cooler areas of the cabin. The porch on the pond side is very long and has some items that will help you combat the bugs. I really enjoyed the place and would love to go……

“A fabulous little cottage! Very comfortable and well decorated. The location can't be beat! Its right across the street from the Bird Dog Cafe and very close to downtown Laurel. My husband, daughter and I had a great weekend. and this cottage was a big part of it! We will definitely come back and would highly recommend Mayhaw Place to anyone!”

“Jenny and John made our stay extra special! The cottage is beautiful, the pool was a perfect way to cool off in the hot afternoon and being invited to an impromptu dinner was unexpected and delicious! We will come again!”

“We can’t say enough good about the property. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were so nice. The only negative I would say is that the room in front with the trundle bed could be really bright if you were sleeping in it and the front bedroom shower is pretty piercing. The host was very responsive which is always nice. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. The street it is on has several of the houses shown on “Home Town”.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ramon, Jon, and Lady! Their home is so warm and inviting, and it was so fun to stay in a home that was featured on Hometown! The yard was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for our 6 month old Golden doodle to run around and make friends with Lady! It was so nice to visit with the host and we so appreciated the recommendations he offered and the homemade dog treats he gave our puppy! You’ll want to stay at Ramon and Jon’s place if you’re in Laurel!……

“The property was very clean, but not as well stocked as other condos/homes that we have stayed in. It was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We did not feel unsafe, however I felt the neighborhood was on the edge of nice homes and the “hood”. I would not have felt safe for children to be with us. We knew that it only had one bathroom but for us that would be a deterrent in the future. The owners were friendly and easy to work with.”

“The cottage is welcoming and beautiful with plenty of space for two of us. I love the convenience of the private parking (one vehicle) directly in front. We didn’t use the kitchen for much but it seemed to have everything you might need for cooking and eating in. With the hot weather, we were grateful for the W/D and laundry pods. I had to hunt in town for a good nap of the area so if there was even one at tge cottage for people to take a picture of, it would be a nice touch. I will……

“A great time. We really enjoyed the place for 2 main reasons. The vibe was great as it had an industrial look and feel which was really cool. The 2nd reason is how close we were to town. It was no more then a 5 minute walk into downtown from "Incognito #1". Perfect for what we wanted.”

“Three of us came to see what Laurel was all about - and we weren’t disappointed! Love the town and all of the things there are to do, and the best part was having a comfortable home to come back and unwind in. We each had our own bedroom, and enjoyed the big windows that looked out at the beautiful neighborhood. We had everything we needed and really made ourselves at home. We decided we will be coming back so we already know where we’ll stay!”

“The cottage was the perfect size for my sister and I. The location is directly across from some type of city maintenance company that used large, loud machinery. Early. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely stay again.”
