「We’re really going to miss this fabulous apartment in magical Boothbay Harbor. It’s very nicely appointed, and so comfortable and peaceful. Do not shy away from the property because it is below the owners’ vacation home. It’s super-well insulated and you wouldn’t know anyone was living above you. Even more important, having the owners there was a bonus. They went out of their way to help us have a fabulous holiday. Having the dock and the kayaks were also big pluses. We’ll definitely be back!」

「The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy.」

「If you’re looking for a small, secluded, modern-rustic house for a small group, this is one to consider. Great views and location. House was VERY clean; a few housekeeping “issues” were identified and relayed to Jeffrey who was quick to respond. Although we only stayed 2 nights, Jeffrey was a top-notch host who was in constant contact to include dining and activity suggestions to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one……which it was!!!!!」

「We absolutely loved our stay here! The location near the beach is perfect; what a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Of all the places we stayed on our trip this one felt the most like Maine. Maybe it was the beautiful character of the restored older home or the great, peaceful location near the water. We would definitely stay here again.」

「The place is beautiful. Lots of nooks and crannies to escape by yourself and not be on top of others. The kitchen was fully stocked and completely renovated. We enjoyed the coffee/wine bar. We used the fire pit as well. I would say the only take aways is that the stairs were tough to navigate for my 88 year old mom and the house is situated right off a busy road. Finally, great that you can walk to the footpath and be in the heart of the town. Would recommend to others!!!」
