"The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. We had great interactions with the night front desk and the valets. The room was freshened up daily and looks just like the pictures. The restaurant onsite also had great food and service.
I highly recommend paying a little more for the water view rooms. We enjoyed the seal lions and boats. The boat side is ok, but is mostly a view of the power plant.
There is no direct beach access and it is a bit of a walk. If you are up for it, you have Redondo Beach 15 minutes walk south and Hermosa a 15 minute walk north, making it a great location for exploring.
