We stayyed here on the way to Cradle mountain, wanted to visit Seahorse and Pltypus World nearby. Lovely studio in quiet street, ample parking. Various cereals, jams, butter, toast, milk, fruit provided for breakfast. Great variety of hot drinks. Good shower and double bed, also a single bed in the same big room for a third person. We also enjoyed a Netflix movie.

We were greeted by Trish when we arrived and got a good rundown on the place and area. It was spotless and so well provisioned.Little extras like bread, butter milk and fresh fruit were provided as well as the usual tea and coffee etc. we found the location to be perfect for us , great for day trips. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

My sister and I greatly enjoyed our 2- night stay in this quality apartment studio on the Tamar Valley. The studio was perfectly located for us to attend a family wedding in nearby Rowella as well as exploration of the area around Beaconsfield. It was everything we were looking for …light and airy, exceptional level of cleanliness throughout, a well-equipped and over-stocked kitchen with personal touches from the lovely hosts included. Our hosts, Trish and Rod were friendly and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. This is a little gem matched by its very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Everything about this property was excellent, the hosts were very welcoming, the communication was great, the layout was well designed, every utensil was provided for all our needs, the place was very clean, they put a lot of thought in the extra things they supplied, like picnic items, great coffee and tea options, etc. They catered to every need a person staying there would need. This is the best every self-contained studio apartment we have ever stayed in. We highly recommend Goldfields Studio Apartment in Beaconsfield. The hosts were amazing and I can’t wait to go back again.

Everything about it is just about perfect, from the owners who introduced themseves and were very friendly, (a bit more time there and I would have gone fishing with them!) To the very very well equipped apartment we were even treated to home-based biscuits, I cannot recommend this place too highly.

You will be surprised by the welcoming of the host. The couple is very friendly and supportive. The house is full of facilities, more than you expected. My children like staying there because they can play with legos, read books at home, go to park and visit the museum nearby. Highly recommended m.

The studio is a simple, spacious, open plan room with a spotlessly clean bathroom. Convection microwave, BBQ and single portable hob means you can cook simple meals. The hosts have thought of extras you might need - bread and some cereals, UHT milk and supplies for day trips (towels, ice bricks, picnic supplies) and check in frequently during the stay to make sure there is nothing you need. I'd suggest taking Trish up on her suggestion to shop in Launceston if you plan to cook.

The property was clean, not cluttered with the owner's detritus (a common feature of so many holiday lettings) and generally accurate in how it is portrayed. Be aware that it is under the house and that it is basically just one large room with a bathroom. I only gave it 4 stars because the cooking facilities were underwhelming. You basically had the microwave and an electric hotplate you had to pull out to cook on. Luckily we travelled with our own electric fry pan which was much faster to cook on. The owners were very helpful and friendly which was appreciated.
