We always stay here after our day at the beach, by the time we get to the hotel we are worn out, beat down from the sun and just ready to shower and relax. The hotel staff has always been so friendly and professional.

I'm not going to say what everybody else has said on all the comments the place is old outdated but it gets the job done. Nothing amazing about it but it works functional. Only thing I would have to say that's bad about it the microwave in our room was dirty look like no one checked it to even clean it so that was bad other than that okay place to stay

Overall pleased. However, I would prefer the front desk attendant to be able to speak English a bit clearer. Nice, but very difficult to understand. Would I stay here again? YES!

Very clean, comfortable stay. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. There was only slight signs of wear in the room, but nothing that warrants subtracting from the overall rating. Definitely would stay again.

I can’t say enough, great things about the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. You can tell that this hotel was updated quickly and small details were left by the wayside and are now very obvious. The concrete around the outside of the hotel has turned black and many of the details in the rooms were obviously overlooked when being updated. Regardless, the beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean, everything worked, and I slept great. I would stay there again.

The comfort inn in Winnie Texas is the best place to stay, in our opinion, if one wants to stay in Winnie. It is basic, but has comfortable beds, clean rooms, dated but decent, and rather meagre breakfast options. The staff (especially Lisette) are extremely friendly and helpful. We will stay here again on our frequent birding trips to High Island and Anahuac.
