Staff management and facilities are very professional, with easy checkin and checkout, it was a pleasure after an early morning flight into Launceston to be greeted like locals, by the locals when we arrived around 6pm, after stopping at one of the local wineries, Josef Chromy, outstanding wine and vineyard mountain views, and visiting the Beaconsfield Mine Museums on our way through to our clean fresh room, with beautiful views all day long. We would stay again and would highly recommend this journey and stay!

Parking was fine. Area was light industrial. Accommodation was probably more suited to workers. Furniture was a bit shabby and rooms a bit lacking in style and comfort for holidaymakers.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Accomodation was clean, comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Meals in the Bistro were top notch and Staff were very friendly and accommodating. After our second stay at the Waterfront and we definitely hope to return in the near future.

Pros Staff were very friendly and efficient. View is great. Bar and restaurant nice. Cons The broken door knob had us first unable to get into room. Eventually able to open door after about 5 minutes of fiddling. Later when we wanted to go out neither my husband and I could open the door after numerous tries. Called reception and was told someone would arrive within 10 minutes. They did and were able to open door. They did move us into another room as we were concerned about being unable to get out in an emergency. While waiting husband decided to have a shower. When he tried to open the sliding door it came off track. While trying to get it back onto the tracks it fell and hit him in the head. The water also didn’t drain well in the shower and the floor was flooded with water, obviously making it very slippery and dangerous. So 3 safety concerns that the owners need to have fixed.

We had a most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this facility.it offered all facilities required and the view is magnificent from all angles.The food too is quality without the hefty price tag. I guess the best way to sum it up exceptional accommodation at budget prices.
