River Runs Through It
Ranked #1 in Belleville by Loyalist College and local critics. With 1/3 of the backyard on the river bed, “River Runs Through It” is the perfect choice for a large family or a couple’s getaway into nature yet still having the convenience of downtown living.
You can clearly hear the sound of river running from every window of the house and enjoy fishing or playing with turtles in your own backyard. It’s also close to Sandbanks Provincial Park, Wine Tasting, Lavender Farms, Thousands Island Cruises, Caves, Ski and Snowboard hills, casinos, and many other attractions.

I booked one year ahead, one week before going, I emailed host, got no reply. We got information from VRBO day before for check in. Got there and place looked abandoned and could not get in. VRBO was fantastic. they looked after us, and we ended up booking another place and it was excellent and cheaper. I would not recommend this place at all

Golf weekend
Had an amazing stay at the property. Comfortably accomodated our entire group for a weekend of golf. Nicely updated, very clean, and a lovely outdoor space. Julia is an amazing host, very quick to respond to all messages, and was helpful with restaurant and itinerary suggestions. We definitely hope to be back next time we do our golf weekend.

Ladies het away weekend
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home, nicely renovated Perfect location for going to Empire Theater. We ordered in dinner from Greek Oassis, delicious. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast the next morning. The back sunroom was a beautiful spot to watch the Moira go by & visit. Beds were comfy.

Vintage meets modern
Lovely stay at this quaint and clean semi detached 2 story home. I was traveling with my mother who has mobility issues and other than 1-2 patio door style transition pieces to step over, it was very manageable for her to get around, she was able to be comfortable and we both very much enjoyed our « nook ». The location in Belleville was convenient and very central for all our needs. Driving down to the PEC region was about 30 minutes of a nice scenic drive. The owner was absolutely terrific, accommodating and always responded promptly. Thanks Julia!!

We had a wonderful time at a River Runs Through It for our annual ladies weekend. Seven of us all slept in separate beds or trundle beds and fouton like couches and everyone said all the beds were very comfortable and all slept well. Lots of spaces to separate at night if people want to stay up while others went to sleep. The hot tub was lovely and cozy. Lots of glasses, plates and utensils. If you seem to be missing something, make sure you look in the cutlery tray in the top of the dishwasher. We had a few issues but communicated with the owner and most items were solved right away.

Amazing House right on the river. The listing is A river runs through it
Our father passed away suddenly and we were expecting family from Europe. We searched the VRBO listings and came across this listing. Julia the host responded to us right away. She was so accommodating. She let us view the property before our relatives arrived. The house is amazing, it is super clean, tastefully decorated and has separate rooms for guests. Plenty of bathrooms. The property is right on the river. I would highly recommend this property. The host is fantastic and the pride in ownership certainly shows with this property. You will not be disappointed
