Not Recommended.

Hotels.com was misleading about the location of this property. I booked this as it stated it was in centre, which it was not. If I knew of the exact location, I would not have booked it. This was our first visit to Berlin and I did not expect the apartment to be across the road from a park for the homeless and to openly see drug use taking place. There needs to be more of an honest representation of where this property is located. We received no check in details until I called to request. Check in details are supposed to arrive the day before, which they didn’t. I was then advised they would arrive between 2pm - 3pm on the day of check in, which they didn’t. Thankfully a couple of other guests allowed us into the reception out of the hot sun. I called for check in details, which shouldn’t have happened. Better communication is required. I would not recommend this particular property due to the location.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt im iPartment enttäuschend. Das Zimmer roch stark nach Schimmel, was den Aufenthalt äußerst unangenehm machte und meiner Meinung nach nicht tragbar ist – besonders in dieser Preiskategorie. Was die Situation noch verschlechtert hat, war der unzureichende Kundenservice seitens iPartment. Auf meine Beschwerden wurde nur zögerlich oder gar nicht reagiert, und ich hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass mein Anliegen ernst genommen wurde. Ohne die Hilfe des Supports von Hotels.com wäre ich auf den Kosten sitzen geblieben. Schade – das Konzept der Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich vielversprechend, aber wenn grundlegende Dinge wie Sauberkeit und Kundenservice nicht stimmen, kann ich keinen erneuten Aufenthalt empfehlen.

Very nice rooms with little balcony, bathroom and kitchen, nicely furnished. Unfortunately the communication about the PIN code on how to access the building and room got ‚blocked‘ by hotel.com and arrived 24 h later. Thankfully the lady still worked… 30 min later she would have been gone.

Fin lejlighed med balkon

Fin nyere lejlighed med mindre møbleret balkon, der i sommermånederne må være et kæmpe plus. Indtjekning med tilsendte adgangskoder fungerede perfekt, modtog dem både på sms og mail. Efter første adgang med koderne, så får man et adgangskort der benyttes i stedet. Dette ligger sammen med en fin lille velkomstgave klar på spisebordet. God seng/madras, dejlig bruser og veludstyret køkken. Og nu til de mindre gode ting: Jeg rejste solo, men synes det er kritisabelt at der i lejligheden i alt kun fandtes en ret tynd hovedpude, altså slet ingen andre hovedpuder eller pyntepuder! Jeg sov derfor dårligt, da jeg måtte benytte min store vinterjakke som underlag til hovedpuden! Området var nok specielt her om vinteren uinspirerende og tildels en smule utrygt - Nok specielt pga. nytårskrudtet! Dog vil jeg anbefale de to ret lækre caféer, Krûmels Café/Bar og Coffee Circle Café, der ligger på vejen hen til S-U Wedding.

Worst Check in Experience Ever!!

It is one of those hotels where you go to the room with a code that is sent to you on the day of the trip. In theory it could have been a easy check in experience however on the massage they forget the special first time entrance code. I had to call them since the office is closed you have wait on phone to get routed to Köln head office . Till they could understand the issue and connect me to someone in Berlin who would connect to the lobby computer through a remote desktop software, I had to wait on the phone for 15 minutes which was very annoying. I got my code to enter the room.After the minutes I went downstairs to have something to eat in the area, then I saw that lobby computer which is in a glass box is turned on with full brightness with my name and code on the screen. Apparently the person working for home has no regard for the safety procedures. I immediately called them again then I had to wait to get routed to Köln. Explained the situation but they did not understand the urgency of the issue and tried to connect with their IT support team but since it was late obviously the support team did not answer.I called them multiple times but with not luck to fix the issue. After 40 minutes I would connect to the guy who gave me my code initially and I could get him to connect again and close the windows on the PC. The hotel itself is very simple room with an additional kitchen, equipment here is very simple and do not reflect the high rate of the hotel.Also not very clean
