“The old house was charming. It could benefit from a really good, deep clean. The bathrooms and beds/linens were very clean and the kitchen was functional. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice and well suited to a comfortable place to hang out on a nice day. The town has food and necessity shopping available and easily accessible. Overall we were pleased with our overnight stay. ”

“Absolutely loved our stay here for the 2024 eclipse! We were only here two nights, but wished we could have stayed for a month! Inside we felt like we were nestled deep in the mountains of Colorado, yet this cabin is located only 5-15 minutes to pretty much anywhere in Poplar Bluff. “Great cozy property with an awesome outdoor area, 2 min from the lake, we were out the door and had our kayaks in the lake in 5 minutes. Massive storms came through and knocked out power so we defintely utilized the blackstone griddle outside. Owners are very responsive and attentive to any questions and needs”

Absolutely phenomenal view at the lake, and the kitchen was very, very convenient if you want to save money and not eat out for every meal. The owner responds to texts instantly, too!”
