“No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. ”

“A very laid back enjoyable experience. A perfect base for visiting Ludlow and Shrewsbury to see the wonderful timbered buildings there. Both offered lovely meals in an ancient setting with welcoming hosts. Also a good place to visit a place close to my heart. “We had a lovely couple of days in the Megapod! Friendly and helpful staff, hot tub and BBQ and just chilling out. Hot tub went wonky on second day but the staff persevered and got it sorted in time for a nice hot soak! Overall, great staff, locals, food and accommodation hence 5 stars!”

“This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars.
