  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Heel leuke week gehad in Besas

Heel leuk huis met een prachtige terras! Zwembad eerder klein, maar ideaal om af te koelen 👍 Mooie, ruime slaapkamers met alle comfort, alleen een douchegordijn vinden wij niet zo leuk, geef maar een vaste douchedeur. Rustige ligging nabij Besas, ideaal om 's avonds nog een rustige wandeling te doen tot bij het dorpje. Aanrader voor wie van de rust en stilte houdt.

Un séjour particulièrement agréable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette agréable maison confortable et spacieuse. La climatisation des chambres et de la pièce à vivre ainsi que la piscine ont été appréciées par ces fortes chaleurs. Sandrine et Jean-Luc nous ont accueilli avec gentillesse et discrétion. Ils ont été de très bons conseils pour nous faire découvrir les merveilles de cette région du Sud Ardèche. Ils sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le miel de Jean Luc. Bref, nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Great location for visiting Vallon Pont D'Arc

Only a 20-25 min. drive away from Vallon Pont D'arc. You would need a car to stay here and make the most of it. The very friendly host lives in the property next door, so easily accessible if you should need help with anything. I don't speak French and they didn't speak English, but this wasn't a problem with the help of the internet and translation software. I stayed here with my two teenaged sones 15 and 17 and we all felt very comfortable and happy in the house with a lovely balcony, the air conditioning, wifi, bbq and pool (although we didn't really use the pool a we spent a lot of time at the river). Very clean and inviting. The owners do have 50 bee hives that produced the most delicious honey. The bees do get into the pool, but other than that you never see them. They also have 3 absolutely delightful and friendly dogs, which for us was so lovely as we were missing our two and it just made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable.
