“Loved this hotel. The only real criticism was the restaurant. Very expensive...and really not good at all. Over done dishes. Some tasted awful. Strange food indeed.”

“Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families……

“The hotel décor is good, very clean and comfortable. Staffs are excellent, friendly and patient. Breakfast is good. Hotel is next to St Lazard station, convenience to take train and metro. Unfortunately the shower room has no curtain, after shower, especially washing hair, toilet is all wet. If this is not improved, I don't think I will stay again as shower is very important after a long day without taking care of watering on the floor.”

Sommier grinçant +++ qui vous réveille à chaque mouvement. Système de chauffage très bruyant (soufflerie) très génant pour dormir même réglé à 18°. Petit dejeuner très bien le 1er matin (semaine), viennoiseries de boulangerie, puis des viennoiseries surgelées réchauffées les 2 autres matin suivants (week-end).……

“This charming hotel is well located off the highways and town in a lovely residential area. Peace and quiet but just 10- minutes drive from Sarlet. The large terrace off the dining room provides an ideal dining area with a beautiful views across the Vally. Professional and personal services from every members of the staff made my four night stay a delight. Fine dining from breakfast till dinner. It also seemed to be a favorite spot for the locals too. For my first visit to the Dordogne area,……
