Tucked into the lush Hochsauerland hills, this cozy forest-edge cottage in Valme offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers and families. With a private entrance, terrace, and access to a playground, soccer field, and barbecue area, it’s perfect for unwinding or playing in the sun-dappled lawn beside the stream. Explore the region’s charm on well-marked hiking and biking trails, including the scenic Valme circular route (VA2). In winter, the Hunau ski area just 7 km away features floodlit slopes, ski school, and cross-country trails. For thrills, Fort Fun Adventure Land is only 5 km away, offering Wild West–themed rides and shows. Water enthusiasts will love Lake Hennesee, where you can try stand-up paddling, kayaking, rowing, or join a family-friendly SUP course. With final cleaning included, this peaceful retreat at Untervalme 3, 59909 Bestwig-Untervalme makes for a stress-free base to explore Sauerland’s natural beauty.

Kalt und dunkel

Due Wohnung war kalt, dunkel und beengt. Es gab keinen richtigen Ofen zum Kochen, nur eine Kombimikrowelle und keine Spülmaschine, sondern nur einen kleinen Wasserboiler…Alles sehr altmodisch .Der Kaminofen funktionierte auch mehr schlecht als recht…bevor man ihn richtig in Fang bekommen hat, hat er den ganzen Wohnraum vollgeräüchert… Wir sind einen Tag eher nach Hause gefahren…
