“The room was very clean and the bathroom cleaner. We had a nice view of the area and were within walking distance of everything a tourist could want or need. We were in town for a concert and were only 2 minutes from the venue. The staff was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The hotel itself, while in a historic building, never felt "old". I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“What they don't tell you is parking at their hotel is $15.88/day in addition to the nightly charge + taxes. The mattress was not comfortable. The shower doors didn't close all the way and water leaked on the floor. We turned the tv off when we went to bed and couldn't get it to turn back on the next morning. Buffet was not good.”

“Check-in process is always a process-shouldn’t take as long as it does. Had an issue with our toilet when we got to the room at end of night. Hadn’t been in room except to drop off bags. Was told by front desk they had no plungers or anything to help. Had to move to diff room…which equaled to total DIFFERENT building which the place is a maze so took forever to find the new room. New room was quite possibly the 1st room ever at the establishment & didn’t seem to have been rented out in the last……

“Neat, clean, safe. We were able to book last minute during a cross country drive. Room had coffee maker and k-cups, bottled water, microwave. In addition to sending arrival information via email, a representative from the hotel called me to ensure we had our room number and door code. This extra step was greatly appreciated, especially as we were traveling and arriving late. Thank you!”

“Breakfast: not much protein. Only yellow frozen hard boiled eggs and not enough sausage gravy to smother the hard, dry biscuits. Parking was safe and good”

“Room was decent. Biggest disappointment was the hot tubs. On Friday evening, only one was operational and still not warm enough.”

“The staff was extremely accommodating. I learned Deadwood is not a very handicap accessible place but the hotel was except for the casino across the street. I would have to go outdoors to go to the next levels of the casino which to be fair. This is a historic town so I get that they don't want to alter it very much and the parking was across the street and you had to go around the parking lot and they don't like to shovel the sidewalks and Deadwood sidewalks are very icy which does happen in……

“I had emergency surgery and needed to reschedule our stay. Over ten attempts to reschedule, all unsuccessful. Each time, I was told I would be charged anywhere from $209, to over $500. Same room, just different dates. I was also told I would not be allowed a chair in the back of the venue for a concert, that I could sit in “ the bathroom”. What a terrible facility, horrible customer service. I didn’t want money back, just wanted a chair for the concert, and to reschedule the stay so we could……
