“The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”

“I stayed in hotal Five S for a few weeks in dec/jan 2026. Beautiful, well maintained building in a nice spot in Kampot (less than a dollar to the river by tuktuk). Friendly owner, efficient staff. Good breakfast in several variants in a nice garden-like environment with a small pool. Although the location is quite central (1 minute to nightmarket, 4 minutes to Durian roundabout), the place is serenely quit. Nice collection of books in the lobby. Cleaning rooms everyday during breakfast by……

“This hotel is only a year old and is in excellent condition. The room was clean and modern as was the rest of the hotel. It does have pool and, although I did not use it, it looks like it is maintained. The location is only a 5-10 minute walk from the river and all of the restaurants which is nice. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Our stay was great : the hotel itself has a nice setup with different pools and an access to the river. The common space are big, in the shades most of the time and well maintained. The food was unexpectedly great, like really really good. The room was good, with everything needed to have a good night. Would definitely stay again !”

“The staff are all so nice and helpful! They helped me book a tour (which was so much fun, I learned a lot and had a blast) and book my bus going back to Siem Reap. It was seamless. They also helped me with my laundry even though I just gave it to them the day before I left so it was a little rushed. The restaurant staff are also so accommodating and nice. And the restaurant itself was just so airy and fresh. Thanks for a great stay!”
