The location was perfect, and the large indoor/outdoor hot tub and sauna were our favorite way to end each day. We loved the wood-burning fireplaces throughout the hotel and the cozy vibe of the coffee shop. The condo was comfortable!

Perfect Family Getaway
The layout and location of this condo was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of toiletries provided. Peekaboo view of the mountain. Overall good value.
Property was clean and as advertised. Condo unit is very short walk to snow. Big Sky resort area it is in has shopping and good dining options. It is in a beautiful location. Two beds were both comfortable. Has useful kitchen and electric fireplace. Would stay here again.

Shoshone condo 1930 March 2025
Beautiful building with convenient walk to the slopes convenience (100yds). Nice pool/hot tub/health club. Free parking ( had to move car around to accommodate snow plowing). Front desk a bit snotty about booking with Vacasa, and misdirected us away from the unit; leaving us pushing a luggage cart around elevators and hallways.
Clean place. A bit sparse on pots/pans/gadgets but it works great. Arrival was a little different. This is a condo that shares a building with a hotel/lodge. Staff is friendly but it wasnt clear to me if i should use the bellhop or not. They let me use their cart, which was a godsend. Once we found our room and got our bearings it was easy to navigate. Heated pool with connected spa was awesome. Easy to walk to lifts (but kind of funny to walk theough the hotel in your ski gear). Literally a two or three minute walk to the lifts. We could come back for lunch. Super easy and great for the family.
I read in one review you can barely see the mountain. Not true. It right at the base area. Walk to lift.
Hotel staff treat you like a red headed step child. As soon as they know where you are staying they stop opening the doors for you at valet.
We had to pay off pool attendant to use hot tub and great pool one night. There is no access to hotel facilities.
This is in the Shoshone Hotel not the Huntley.
We rated it a 4 star because the owner should give full disclosure on the access to facilities. The room was not very clean but for the price and location it was great.
The condo was large, clean and well stocked. My only complaint is it does need more comfortable seating. There were 3 of us and the seating was enuf, but any more than 3 is a problem.
Perfect condo right off the slopes and very close proximity to Big Sky Resort. This condo was well appointed and had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub and pool were perfect after a long day on the slopes. I would stay at this place again without any hesitation.
Overall, it was very good. However, we did not have a parking pass in the condo and there were 2 tissues in the box before it was empty with no extras in the unit.
The apartment is great and the location can’t be beat. We needed a larger pan and the manager was able to get it to us by end of day.. I thought it was a long shot but it worked. We cooked the entire time there and it’s electric stove/oven. I would stay again but keep in mind it’s a king bed.. a Murphy bed and a pull out couch.
Great unit easily accessible to all mountain services. Hotel will do nothing to help you if you did not book through them,. Needed a blanket in the room, basically it was tough luck, contact your host which we were unable to do. Otherwise great.

Shoshone condo at Big Sky resort
The room itself is actually quite nice with a very comfortable bed, lots of room, nice bathroom, etc. Beautiful building and location, etc.
Unfortunately a few concerns including the heating/air conditioning system which did not work properly for our first night. It was on an auto mode that made it very cold and when we tried to make an adjustment, it made it extremely hot. We eventually had to turn the system off at the fuse box. Fortunately, by the next day, we learned that by doing so we had reset the system in there after it function adequate. Our attempts to talk to the front desk of the building were absolutely useless, as they do not know anything about these rooms since they are not involved with renting them. It is done by Vacasa. When we attempted to reach. Vacasa it took 18 hrs or more to get a text response that was not helpful.
We also would recommend that simple provisions be left in the condo such as coffee, a considerably nicer coffee maker than the Kmart brand that was present, instructions on how to adjust the TV ( i.e. can one use Netflix, etc.), whether laundry facilities are available within the building, the heating system which was malfunctioning for us, etc. There are neither any instructions or any access to help to address these questions. As we arranged our vacation stay through VRBO, we expected that type of experience. This was not what we encountered, but rather an off site management team that took almost 18 hrs to respond to our heating system concern. We occasionally rent the ski condo we own elsewhere and would never think to not have someone with knowledge of the condo/facility always available for concerns.
