The room itself is actually quite nice with a very comfortable bed, lots of room, nice bathroom, etc. Beautiful building and location, etc.
Unfortunately a few concerns including the heating/air conditioning system which did not work properly for our first night. It was on an auto mode that made it very cold and when we tried to make an adjustment, it made it extremely hot. We eventually had to turn the system off at the fuse box. Fortunately, by the next day, we learned that by doing so we had reset the system in there after it function adequate. Our attempts to talk to the front desk of the building were absolutely useless, as they do not know anything about these rooms since they are not involved with renting them. It is done by Vacasa. When we attempted to reach. Vacasa it took 18 hrs or more to get a text response that was not helpful.
We also would recommend that simple provisions be left in the condo such as coffee, a considerably nicer coffee maker than the Kmart brand that was present, instructions on how to adjust the TV ( i.e. can one use Netflix, etc.), whether laundry facilities are available within the building, the heating system which was malfunctioning for us, etc. There are neither any instructions or any access to help to address these questions. As we arranged our vacation stay through VRBO, we expected that type of experience. This was not what we encountered, but rather an off site management team that took almost 18 hrs to respond to our heating system concern. We occasionally rent the ski condo we own elsewhere and would never think to not have someone with knowledge of the condo/facility always available for concerns.
