Fishing, cycling and mountain biking are all local pursuits with the facilities at Glentress, 20 minutes’ drive. Edinburgh is a scenic, hour’s drive north and is a wonderful place to experience at any time of year, but especially for the vibrant atmosphere during the Edinburgh Festival in August and spectacular celebrations at New Year.
