“Beautiful hotel, beautiful gardens, fabulous room and very comfortable bed”

“At close to $600 per night, I would think they could clean toe rooms every day rather that every other. We checked in to a clean room on Friday and checked out Sundasy-no cleaning”

“The 1950s theme is fun and well-done. Pink Princess phone, Crossley record player with great jazz classic LPs (we listened to the Coltrane/Ellington session), and beautiful, funky mosaic tile in the bathroom. Two complaints: weak shower pressure, and the air conditioner didn’t cool as well as we'd like. But we would definitely go back and stay longer the next time we're in Charlottesville. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The grounds were very well maintained and the hotel was clean and well maintained. They were even doing some renovations of some rooms, but noise and inconveniences were minimized. The property oozes of a management team that takes pride in a well presented property. Our only two small downsides that kept us from five star ratings was minimal change up of breakfast options each day (noticeable since we stayed multiple nights) and an odor in our room that……
