"Pros - beautiful junior suite very comfy bed , lovely gardens and pool , stylish property Cons - having paid nearly €400 for a room I expected to be be able to reserve a table in their Michelin * restaurant- this is why we booked / unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked so this was not possible - gutted ! They did recommend a restaurant locally which we tried and it was the worst meal of our trip :( So please check restaurant availability before you book a room "

It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. "

"Expedia sells this as a 3-star hotel. This is a vacation rental property with no frills. When we landed at the property at 7:30pm, they had left the chalet open with the key in the door (that at least, they communicated with us about), the bed unmade, and no soap or amenities to talk about. When I messaged them, they said that this was a holiday rental property and not a hotel and they did not do beds or provide soap etc. I am not sure how to trust Expedia and their rating system after this....

"Séjour d’une nuit agréable malgré une araignée au plafond. Literie très confortable. Salle de bain moderne mais évier peu pratique quand on a des enfants. Piscine très appréciée mais des parasols seraient les bienvenus "

"Due to flights we had 2 nights here before moving to our holiday accommodation. The owners were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, breakfastgreat and fridge stocked for us to use at reasonable prices. Lovely rooms and hotel very close to Sarlat."
