"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Inside, the cottage is equally serene and well thought out, with lots of windows, plentiful hooks in the bathroom and a great walk in shower, as well as a clean and spacious kitchen and living room. "My second stay at Celtic Manor (Manor House). We booked a second time (after about two years) because the cooked breakfast was the best I remember having. Unfortunately, the manor house breakfasts are now served in the main hotel and are buffet breakfast instead of cooked to order. While it is still ok, it is nothing compared to what it used to be. I found the room to be a bit tired, with frayed carpet, busted hinge on a cupboard door etc, but very clean. It is easy to get lost in the hotel, but it is kinda fun to explore - even if it feels like a big empty hotel in North Korea at times. Staff are mostly very helpful, but there were a few instances where I felt a member of staff couldn't be bothered - but not a big enough deal to go into any detail. Swimming pool is very nice, and the amenities are great. Hotel does get very busy, but it's worth a stay. Oh, £13.50 for overnight parking is quite steep - particularly as it's pay on exit, so if you nip out for any reason you have to pay afresh when you get back rather than parking on the existing ticket, so if you nip out a few times in a day it could get expensive."
