“The property was perfect for our stay. It was clean and the communication with the host was great. My only complaint is the doors to the bedrooms and bathroom didn’t close all they way. They seem to just need a little adjusting. Highly recommend!”

“Terrific place, very nice atmosphere and decor. Comfortable and welcoming throughout. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the morning and evening and the different birds than we have at home. My husband enjoyed cooking on the large grill each night. The wine from the local winery was terrific. We had a great time and would definitely consider returning.”

“The owner helped us by being flexible and accommodating. We got a day of reservation and there was a problem with the booking. He was quick to respond and fixed the issue right away. We were in town saying goodbye to a family member and the services got moved around several times. With a 2 and a 4 year old needing a nap and a place to hang, we were able to extend our check out for a small fee. Will stay again this summer!”

“I grew up in Carthage and occasionally return to see family. The house was quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. It is within walking distance to anything that you would need in the area as far as groceries, restaurants, etc. This will be our number one choice for future visits to the area.”
