Historical Hotel, Main Street Blowing Rock

A luxury, short term rental experience located in the heart of historic Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The Reinhardt Rooms, formally the Parkway Hotel, is newly renovated and decorated by acclaimed interior designer Molly Northern. The Reinhardt Rooms combine simple mountain contemporary design with a historic, southern hospitality and aura.

The Reinhardt Rooms are located directly in the heart of historic Blowing Rock. Stay here to be able to walk and explore our great hallmark town.

Unit No 3 is our biggest space in the building. It is complete with a full living room with a pullout sofa bed overlooking main street, powder room, dining area, kitchen with granite island, washer/dryer, full bathroom, a and bedroom.

Before booking our property, please read:
1. This is an extremely old building, actually it is one of the oldest in Blowing Rock (1924). It isn’t perfect. Sometimes the water takes a little longer to heat up and the windows leak during “gully washer” storms. With that being said, we love it anyway and are constantly making improvements.
2. We live in a true “hallmark” town. While it is an awesome community, calling someone to fix a problem is often met with “I can put you down for next week” (The sense of urgency is not always there).
3. This is not our full time job. We have other priorities including dogs, school, mothers-in-laws, etc. We will do the best we can if a problem comes up, but please know we have to balance a big family.
4. If you plan on staying with us during the week, please know that the building receives commercial deliveries Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Often, these deliveries happen between 6-7am. They are not there long but it could be noisy. The overall street is very quaint but the building is situated near other restaurants that get deliveries throughout the week. Please let me know if you have any questions about this point prior too booking.
With that out of the way, we will do everything in our ability to make sure you have the best experience possible. Blowing Rock is an amazing place filled with amazing people and amazing things to do. We hope that you will give us a chance! -The Northerns

Perfect Anniversary Getaway in Blowing Rock!

For our anniversary trip, I wanted to stay on Main Street in Blowing Rock and that is exactly what I got! It was perfect! The location was excellent. I loved the coffee shop and home store below. We were right next to The Mellow Mushroom and Speckled Trout (amazing!). The unit itself was lovely. Crisp and clean. I loved the interior design and layout. Even though there was only two of us, I greatly appreciated having the additional half bath for getting ready in the evening. It’s evident that the hosts take great pride in the building and its history. Overall, a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Mountain Getaway with luxuries and detailed attention

Detailed and easy check-in and check-out procedures. Darling one bedroom/two bath apartment has a fabulous location in the heart of Blowing Rock. Loved the modern decor in historical building. The attention the owners gave to detail was remarkable from comfortable mattress and bedding, plenty of towels, fresh cookies and water, “clean” toiletries and soaps, and very clear directions for everything. We would love to stay again. It was wonderful. Well done, owners! Quick walk to shopping and eating. Order pizza to go from Mellow Mushroom and enjoy your accommodations and views of downtown while eating. Make reservations at “The Speckled Trout” and walk there in three minutes. Walk minutes to pick up breakfast at The Market and enjoy in the room. FYI to the elderly or disabled, you do have to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs to the room.

Lovely, small property. Easy to locate and check in. Check out instructions were easy. Everything about this property made for a relaxing getaway. Has everything needed. It’s right above a cookie shop in the middle of town. Across the street walk to the Speckled Trout and just down the way from the Market.

Great Location!

We loved our stay at this property! The location in the heart of Blowing Rock is fantastic. Super easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Even being in the heart of downtown, and facing Main Street, the apartment was not loud and it was fine to sleep with the windows open at night. The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. Even though parking spot isn't right at the building, it was very convenient and definitely a great plus.

Fantastic & Prefect location

We loved the location of the Reinhart Rooms, located in the heart of downtown, steps away from everything! The parking spot was great. We walked all through downtown, enjoying the restaurants and shopping and then were minutes away from hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The apartment was perfectly appointed, comfortable furniture, nice sized kitchen for easy meals and plenty of seating. An amazing trip and prefect to escape the heat from Charlotte. Walk everywhere

We loved being in the heart of Blowing Rock. This super cute unit is in the middle of the action, yet totally quiet inside. Just be aware that this second floor apartment is up a very old and narrow staircase, so those with mobility issues might be challenged. The owner was very responsive when we had a question.
