Un établissement un peu vétuste mais calme. La literie n est pas le point fort de l établissement. Les petits déjeuners ne sont pas copieux. La ville propose peu d hébergements, il fallait faire avec. En revanche la piscine est dans un cadre exceptionnel. Et le personnel était aimable.

A lovely hotel, centrally located. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they arranged moped hire, an airport transfer and laundry for us. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked fresh, the vegetable pho and the banana pancakes were wonderful.

Great place for a 1 night stay after hiking. The staff was super help, we arrived at 6:30 pm and we had to leave at 8:00 am the day after for another tour, they did our laundry in record time. The outdoor area with the pool and the mountain is very nice too and the location is right next to the bus pick up spot, very convenient

The back of the hotel is very very nice just against a mountain cliff. and the pool is unbelievable and so inviting. Food is decently priced and it’s a nice place to eat quietly. My room was quite big. It has a lot going for it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean, willing to overlook that it could be rough around the edges for everything that it’s got going for it. I would go back there.

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. It is right in the centre close to all of the restaurants and there is a convenience store nearby. The family who run it are really friendly and helpful and make it a warm and welcoming place to stay. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend booking a staying here.

Song Toan and his daughter Chinh were 2 of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They helped out arranging so my stay in Phong Nha was a time I’ll never forget. The room was great everything I needed. Thanks to the Toan family

The family that owns the hotel were great! We had some snacks and beers together during Tet, it was really cool. the grounds are really nice, big pool etc. They made us breakfast each morning and that was really a nice treat (the banana pancakes were great!) They have motorbikes to use and got us a bus back down to Hue. We had 5 straight days of rain so that was a bummer but obviously out of the hotels control. All in all, I would totally stay here again if I was back in phong nha.

Classy budget-friendly comfort in Phong Nha

Clean cozy, high-ceilinged hotel with complementary coffee, water, breakfast, and happy hour beer! The host family was delightful and helped us arrange scooter rentals, caving expeditions, and a taxi through the DMZ areas on our way to Hue. Highly recommended!

Great Family Owned Hotel

The owner was a super nice lady. We gave her a bag of laundry at 7pm and it was done when we checked out at 7am the next morning. She made us a nice breakfast and coffee. She has an overall friendly disposition. We will definitely stay here again.

Oh wow! I loved my stay at Song Toan Hotel! Their garden and pool area are one of the most beautiful spots I have stayed at, with the big lush mountains looming over you in the background. The staff (family runned place) was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in the price. The menu wasn't big, but the owner makes the breakfast fresh for you upon order. For the price I played I can't be any thing else than super satisfied. The room was clean and the toilet was big as well. The ceiling is really high (ca 3,5 m) so the room feels very airy. The room also had both fan and AC. The owner can help you with anything: book tours, day trips, hiking, bus tickets, rent motorbike etc. Negative things: There was no fridge in the room, but I was never in need of one. And some might think that the bed is too hard. I have back problems so I need a firm bed.

The staff is friendly/family owned. Breakfast included in the price, secured my motorcycle, offered me tea, provided water in the room, and located along the main strip in Phong Nha, so walkable to the tourist center, restaurants, and other services. Room was clean. Karaoke could be heard in the late evening coming from outside the hotel area if you are the type to go to bed early. Very pleasant stay and recommend if you are traveling to Phong Nha.

Excellent hotel and host

Excellent hotel. Family run. Lovely family. Looked after the guests. Cooked dinner for us too. Were there when even we asked for anything, help, food, directions. Ching the daughter is very efficient. Mother excellent cook. Pool is very big and surrounded by mountain was the real good thing. But to caves as well as to Hue was booked by them without any extra charge (unlike other hotels).

Excellent stay good value for money. The nicest owner. Was able to check us in when our bus arrived at 4am. Nice breakfast included. Clean and spacious room. Hot shower, water does run out quick on the small heater. Pillows could use an upgrade + a thicker blanket for colder days. Didn't love the indoor smoking in the reception area in the evening- couldn't be smelt in the room but it felt like walking through an ashtray on the way in. Good location in town. Overall would reccomend.

Great stay at Song Toan Hotel in Phong Nha. The staff at this hotel were fantastic right from check in all the way thru the delicious breakfast they made us the next morning. We stayed here for one night before a cave trip and I couldn't recommend it any higher!

Für vietnamesische Verhältnisse ein modernes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service. Zimmer nicht groß, aber noch in Ordnung, dafür großes Bad. Frühstück auf Bestellung war der beste Bananen-Pancake, den ich bislang in Vietnam gegessen habe. Dazu gab es frisches Obst. Unkomplizierte Buchung einer Tagestour sowie eines Bustickets für die Weiterfahrt durch das Hotelpersonal.
