「Just enough space for a couples get away. We enjoyed it and will be back!」

「Wonderfully responsive」

「everything was nice, clean, and cool when we arrived. It was very quiet, and overall a nice peaceful stay. The painting pages, and watercolor paints for the kids were an amazing touch. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be booking again when we are in town for a race!」

「Older motel. Building was ok. It was clean but needed remodeling」

「Front desk guy was super nice. exterior is incredibly outdated, parking lot sucks. Windows aren't tinted in the slightest and curtains are not as private as most hotels. When someone sits in their car in front of your room with the lights on doing a "deal" it's annoying. Running water was off all night. 「This is by far the nastiest property I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The room smelled like moldy dogs, there were dead flys everywhere and the mattress cover stains from God knows what. Lucky I was on camping trip so I had river shoes to walk around room, and sleeping bag that I used to sleep on top of covers. I only got the room because of heavy rain storm, If given the choice next time I’ll sleep outside in the rain. At least I know what I’ll be facing. 」

「Host was fantastic in providing details regarding the property and the greater Mena area. We really enjoyed staying at the Sassafras Inn.」

「Great place. No frills but all the basics were supplied. Very clean; great host.」

We chose to keep the rental and accept a discount back for the inconvenience. All the accommodations were satisfactory and the house was pretty clean, the back deck and outdoor seating area could use some attention, tall weeds and debris didnt make for a...
