“From even before we stepped foot on the island, service was excellent. We couldn’t ask for a better host than Marit. The house was exactly as described, we were greeted there by Marit and received a walkthrough, and it was fully stocked with everything you could think of. The views and location rounded out a great experience. When most vacations you have a bit of a desire to go home, this really felt like home and we were sad to leave. “We absolutely LOVED this villa! The floorplan was perfect for three adult couples, with each of us having our own private bath. This property is conveniently located just minutes from the airport and downtown Kralendijk. Initially, we were a little concerned that noise from the airport might be annoying, but once there, we didn't notice it. “Great location. Pleasant walk to downtown. View was lovely at sunset. There are some small sandy spots nearby. Dive Friends shop was 3 houses down which was great, though it’s a 1 way road so you have to do drive a down then back up to get your truck to it. AC worked well in all rooms and there’s separate AC in the common area. Kitchen was well stocked with both pots/utensils and basic spices and oils. ”

“The Kitchen was very well equipped. The appliances are fairly new and were fully operational. When we arrived, I was disappointed in the grill. I raised it as an issue and by the end of the evening, Barry (Property Manager) delivered a brand need charcoal Weber grill/smoker! It was perfect! Villa Ocean Blue is a lovely place and you cannot beat the view! We will be back”

“Outstanding property. Very clean, safe, well organized, and tons of space for the family. The pool was the highlight - swimming every day for hours. Snorkeling and scuba diving right off the beach was awesome - easy entry for beginners, and tons of marine life to enjoy. Very quiet neighborhood and easy 5min drive to town for shopping, restaurants, and ice cream!”

“The stay was amazing. Having direct access to a wonderful reef was an added bonus. Just down the street were a couple excellent restaurants (at Delfins) and the food truck at Bachelor beach selling lion fish sandwiches was part of our daily lunch plans. ”

“The Good: The rental was cheap, there were many appliances in the house, they were flexible on letting us check in early, the management staff were nice, there was an outdoor shower with a plastic tub to rinse off after diving, & a clothes line in the back which was useful for drying off wet clothes. The Bad: It was unclear from the VRBO description that the rental is in a shared compound with 4 other rental houses & the entire outdoor space is communal, so no privacy outside. Although we……

“We had the most amazing time here! The villa is in the perfect location nestled between two beautiful dive sites with amazing reef and fish. Direct, private access to the beach and the pool were amazing assets to this villa. The house itself is perfect for a family vacation— spacious, comfortable, and clean!”

“This was our 3rd trip to Bonaire, but first time at this property & with another couple with a 12 & 15 year old. The kids & each couple had our own rooms with ensuite bathrooms, including dual showers & AC units. The upstairs has a well stocked kitchen, tv room, sitting area & an expansive deck with lounge & table seating (we only ate breakfasts outside as the bugs were too bad at dinnertime).The patio is huge with several lounge chairs.
