Great condo! But communication wasn’t easy.

The area is great but the communication they Newman Hospitality wasn’t as easy as my previous experiences with owners. Also the VRBO app wouldn’t open the inbox/messaging option. The condo itself was satisfactory but the porch ever really gets sun and the condo feels dark most of the day. It was clean and comfortable.

Newman property in Bonita Springs

Condo was ok. Property management was poor. Bedroom carpets were filthy, no window coverings for first floor unit with floor to ceiling windows, lights and fans on Lanai were not working, garbage disposal didn’t work, remote for bedroom fan didn’t work. Took 2 weeks to get carpets cleaned. Took 3 visits from maintenance to get 2 of 3 lanai fans working, 3rd fan never worked. Unit owner dropped in unannounced. Newman property management never considered our experience and took their time to follow up with the issues they did address. They denied our request for compensation to offset all the inconvenience of multiple texts, phone calls and maintenance people coming out and in. Will avoid all Newman properties going forward.

Wild Pines

Bonita Bay is lovely. The private beach and beach set up is a definite perk. So nice! We stay here every year, but first time at this condo. The condo was very clean and neat, but updates definitely needed; miscellaneous old and dark Tommy Bahama furniture and pictures and rugs. Living room a bit dark unless daytime curtains open. The place needs cheering up a bit, but very clean. Beds super comfortable. Countertops in kitchen and baths new and modern. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely bedding. The reason I put few stars on review was because the evening before we were suppose to leave for wild Pines we found out the pool was closed until October! We are pool people and this was devastating to us because we were driving 17 hours and our car was packed. Too late to find something else! The owner did knock a percentage off but it was so hot and without a pool in Florida wasn’t pleasant. But oh well. We enjoyed our month there anyway.
