Woke to the Sounds of Birdlife

We had a great stay at Beausoleil this past weekend. The venue boasted a comfortable, nicely furnished suite, well-kept grounds and an abundance of birdlife. We were especially impressed by Luke's exceptional hospitality in allowing us to use the family kitchen to prepare our own meals from time to time. The setting was idyllic, nestled in the Bonnievale valley, with spectacular views of the winelands and distant mountain ranges. Also within 20-30mins of a range of activities, incl. restaurants, wine tasting, canoeing and horse-riding. Recommended for a couples' retreat or family getaway.

A hidden gem

Our stay was great. The host was outside and greeted us when we drove up. She directed us to our room (an upgrade) and explained the services, mainly breakfast since it was winter. Speaking of breakfast, the hot plate was delicious, a great start to our morning. Only issue was the cold. It was in the high 30s/low 40s and there was no heat in the room or breakfast area. The extra blanket helped, but there was no where to sit that was a reasonable temperature. The staff we met were all fabulous. A wonderful place to stay.

Adoramos nossa estagia nesta guest house localizada no meio de um campo de lavandas.. tudo muito charmoso, delicado e acolhedor.. muito silencioso e relaxante. Os campos de lavanda conferem um charme especial, inclusive as amenities: shampoo, creme cabelo, sabonete e sachet são produzidos no local e é possível comprar todos os produtos produzidos por eles. O café da manhã é ótimo… super vale a pena… tudo muito gostoso e preparado na hora.

Quiet, well placed to explore the Breede river valley. Very comfy bed and well laid out room. Shower temperatures were a bit unpredictable, and a better description of the pool would help visitors. It is only a very small walk in pool.
