Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame one bedroom condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Grandfather Mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Home Away From Home

Relaxing. Refreshing. Rejuvenating! We were very pleased with the awesome view, comfortable lodge and the lovely clubhouse on the property. A very secluded private place. Couple of observations are that the TV is dated. We would have appreciated Internet -based TV with options like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc The agreement and website details indicated “no pets allowed.” However , we did see pet owners/guests next to our lodge walking their dogs. So we were a bit surprised ! Overall, an unforgettable and excellent stay! Thank you very much.

Great time on top of the mountain

This is a great residential development situated between Banner Elk and Boone. Perfect if you want to enjoy both locations. Enjoyed the indoor pool access for our kids (4 and 6) to swim each day after tubing and skiing! The condo had all we needed and then some. Perfect for a quick weekend away!

Amazing Grandfather Mountain View

Very clean and comfortable for our weekend getaway! You could not beat the view of Grandfather Mountain from the living room and deck. The only thing that would make this place better would be a king size bed. The queen currently there was not very comfortable. Upon arrival we discovered the fireplace was not working. We called and they had someone there within 15 minutes to fix it. The location allowed us to get to where we wanted to go within 10-25minutes (Banner Elk, Downtown Boone, Grandfather Mountain and Grandfather Vineyard Winery, The Cascade Trail)

Absolutely Fantastic!

Our 38th wedding anniversary getaway could not have been better. The view was fabulous, the condo was perfect. Well appointed and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed right down to the sewing kit in one of the kitchen drawers for my lost button I had to sew back on. We had a wonderful time. It snowed while we were there, talk about peaceful, and serene. I would love to return soon!

Beautiful views!

Nice condo for two!! Lower unit but views were still amazing! The condo was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. My only issue (and barely worth mentioning) was the people in the unit above us. We could hear them walking around rather loudly but like I said, it wasn't enough to cause us to complain. We would still use this place again!
