This was our third stay and we absolutely loved it as always. The home is beautiful, well decorated, and fully stocked with everything that you could need to make your trip perfect. The home is always immaculately clean.Jimmy and Jenine always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. It is always a relaxing experience every time we stay in their beautiful home. The location to West Jefferson and Boone could not be better, it offers quick and easy access to everything. We always enjoy the large spacious balcony, especially during the cool mornings. We look forward to returning again very soon!

Haven

What a great stay! We so enjoyed our time and took advantage of it to rest physically and mentally. Most of our time was spent on the porch listening to the creek and watching the birds. Perfect retreat!

Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend.

No Mosquitos

We attended a wedding at The Barn on New River. Venue owner told us that there are virtually no mosquitos around the New River. Great place for all outdoor activities. Loved it.

A Perfect Stay

The house was perfect and even better than expected. It has wonderful furniture and appears to be professionally decorated. During our stay we cooked nice meals, stayed up late talking in the comfortable living room, and had coffee on the porch each morning. The driveway was a little tricky to find and it's very steep so I would recommend arriving before dark. I will definitely book this home again.

Wonderful mountain getaway

I came to the area for my birthday with my son and partner. My maternal grandmother was born in West Jefferson and I wanted to explore. This cabin was perfect. It was about 15 or 20 minutes to town but the drive was beautiful. The cabin is nicely furnished and very comfortable. I loved sitting on the deck. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area.

Wonderful

The home had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved sitting on porches and listening to nature. Close to Blowing Rock and if you haven’t been to West Jefferson, it is a must! Ashe County Cheese has some great cheeses plus jams and jellies. We will definitely stay here again.
