「We stayed here for a friend’s wedding in Italy. While the location was ideal, we were very disappointed with some basics. The fridge and freezer were turned off on arrival, taking over a day to cool in 39C heat, so we had no cold food or drinks. There was barely a full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, the gas for cooking had been turned off at the mains, and the air conditioning remote didn’t work because the batteries were dead—again, not ideal in such heat. These are essentials you’d...

「My family and I recently rented out the whole property for a few days and the hosts were amazing to deal with. They were available for any questions and hosted an incredible food cooking class for the 9 of us using fresh and local ingredients. We stayed during the hottest part of the heatwave and the apartments were definitely hot but the owners provided portable fans and with the windows opened there was a bit of a cross breeze. The apartments themselves are rustic but had everything we needed...

「Pros: We've had a wonderful time (two weeks) in this lovely hom with our 3 kids (16,14 and 10). It was very warm during our stay because of the heatwave, but with closing the windows and shutters during the day and the ventilators during the night we could manage the heat. Everything you need is in the house, and beside the coffee and tea Paula surprised us with a cold bottle Prosecco. Her mother, living upstairs, surprised us with plums of her own garden the next morning and gave us good advice...
