Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. "I’ve stayed at Hotel La Tour twice now. The good: Clean, modern, hotel feels premium. The Bad: Staff are rude, unhelpful, amenities in room are limited and not the best e.g shampoo/ Shower gel both labelled as shower gel, kettle had visible limescale. But easily the worst thing is the staff and their attitude. I appreciate they’re probably busy, but it just felt like a chore to try and talk to them. While hotels have various policies around early check-ins, late checkouts I was simply told no for both of these (despite getting in contact in advance for early check-in and morning of checkout for late checkout) very unaccommodating and unhelpful. Overall the hotel is lovely and situated well but I think I’d try somewhere else next time."
