"Window in room broken with a hole in the pane of glass. Shower poor. Wallpaper falling off. Reported tv not working. Staff just shrugged and said nothing they could do. Shower looks like it’s recently been leaking and not repaired properly. Paint all over the carpets. Food was mediocre. Bar person was friendly and good at her job."

"The hotel was old and uncomfortable. Didn’t find my booking and had to wait around for over 30 minutes for it to be confirmed despite showing evidence the room was booked.
Won’t stay again. "

"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"I’ve stayed at Hotel La Tour twice now. The good: Clean, modern, hotel feels premium. The Bad: Staff are rude, unhelpful, amenities in room are limited and not the best e.g shampoo/ Shower gel both labelled as shower gel, kettle had visible limescale. But easily the worst thing is the staff and their attitude. I appreciate they’re probably busy, but it just felt like a chore to try and talk to them. While hotels have various policies around early check-ins, late checkouts I was simply told no for both of these (despite getting in contact in advance for early check-in and morning of checkout for late checkout) very unaccommodating and unhelpful. Overall the hotel is lovely and situated well but I think I’d try somewhere else next time."
"Nice hotel breakfast dissapointing tables not cleared food not replenished, a prom previous night next day toilet disgusting obviously not clean since prom
Had wedding came back late room key wouldn't work bed made but dirty sheet left on it and moth flew out when pulled duvet back not good"
"The room was clean but extremely basic, no desk, chair, kettle, wardrobe or drawers and the bed was not overly comfortable at all. Staff that we met were very polite, professional, helpful and approachable.
There is no actual parking, only on-street pay and display parking, although it's not as expensive as I was expecting it to be so I was pleasantly surprised by this.
There is air-conditioning in the room which was a godsend as the windows are screwed closed."
"It not clear where reception is and where to park.
Also no sound proofing around room doors, so every step and conversation heard. Not that there was much, but if it was busy with late night people walking past it could be.
That said we did like the hotel, and would book again if in the area. Food was good, restaurant seating could do with some smaller tables for couples"
"The room was clean, and the hotel is in a very nice area with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was quite small. There was a coffee machine in the lobby, but a sign saying the hotel had run out of cups remained there for over a day."
