Truly a top-notch, owner-operated resort. The best of what an up north experience has to offer: lake, golf, and good food. All staff are helpful and friendly.

Beautiful lakefront property. Enjoyed our one night stay in the Mission Point section. Would request first floor next time in this section if traveling with young children or a senior as there is no elevator. Very nice updated unit overlooking the lake on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. We enjoyed visiting the smaller beach in the Mission Point section and getting drinks from the indoor bar in the restaurant right next to the beach. We liked exploring all of the different sections and could easily spend several days enjoying all of the different onsite activities. The Strawberry Ridge section pool could use some updating. The children's wadding pool had a strange color and the whole pool area could use some renovations. The other outdoor pool near the lobby is beautiful, but did not have a wading pool for our little one so we did not use this. Good food onsite. Typical prices for large resorts in northern Minnesota. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to future stays!

there are some areas that need work in the buildings … our building has a huge area that is falling off the building and our Air conditioning was horrible. The staff is outstanding .. loved the salt pool and the golf is awesome. As a matter of fact the use of safe methods to keep the greens beautiful but without dangerous run off is so great. It is spendy there and we would love to stay a week but may be too spendy. The food is great there too.

The Mission Point restaurant was wonderful and the staff and service were great. The check-in was smooth and our room was very nice and clean. The Fairway restaurant was very disappointing. Husband ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and it came without the chicken. The server observed it and said they were terribly busy and would put in for another one! I ate , we waited nothing came. The waiter brought a to - go container thinking we got it ! He apologized and said he check on it! After a hour passed we said to just bring the bill. We were charged for it anyway and the server was so busy we never saw him again. We just paid the $63.00 and my husband went without a meal. Apparently, very short staffed.
