“I stayed here for work and found it a perfect location. Steve was very good with communication and answering all my questions. The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. I stayed 4 nights and looked to re book the same room the following week but unfortunately it had gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. ”

“We stayed 2 nights in the cottage with our 2 children. We cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped with just the right amount of things you might need during your stay. The welcome basket of teas and biscuits etc is a lovely touch. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. We had a 2 year old with us so we requested a stair-gate for the top of the stairs which was provided. It’s not actually a gate but a piece of wood which fixes to the wall but it does the job. “We were a little disappointed as we weren’t overlooking river which we obviously misread. The beds were excellent and we enjoyed the quietness of the place. Our dog loved the garden. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cliff Hotel. Staff were great - attentive and helpful. Our room was in need of refurbishment (carpet had iron burns for example) but clean and comfortable. The sea view rooms all look on to a huge pipe which is from the extractor fan in the kitchen. It’s noisy but is turned off during the night until about 6.30am. We kept the window open for ventilation but once the fan started….. Food in the bar was excellent and the service fantastic and can’t be faulted.……
