The Croyde Bay was what I had expected from reviews, but more!
We could not fault it for comfort, cleanliness, food, friendliness and entailment and relaxation!
Would highly recommend and come ahsin
Lots of space to park.
Room spotless and warm.
Good en-suite.
Studio with catering facilities.
Fish and chips well cooked and tasty.
We stayed out of season it may be very different during high season.
Our first visit and we will definitely be back! The lodge was clean and comfortable. Very impressed at the kitchen facilities with hob, cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. Good selection of pans and utensils. Great for self catering! TVs in 2 of the bedrooms.
Had a really nice couple of nights, room was spacious, clean and ideal for a family. Staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, courteous and helpful, credit to the resort and management. Breakfast had enough for everyone and a good selection of cooked and continental. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, couldn't fault the food or the service and very reasonably priced, we even stayed for the quiz!
Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again. Thank you. :)
Friendly, helpful reception staff. Lovely pool facility. Great location.

Served a purpose
Excellent location with a good range of on-site amenities. Room we had (ground floor and designed for disabled use - we’re not disabled) was not in great condition or cleanliness (e.g. there was a doggy smell lingering). Staff we met were friendly.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was basic but felt right for the price. Great location with really easy beach access.
Massively exceeded all expectations.
Excellent quality accommodation, right on the beach with facilities far above the standard expected at this sort of resort.

The area was outstanding very clean, the room was clean and facilities were excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff were really attentive and helpful.
Very clean and tidy site, Good atmosphere, lots to do and food was excellent value.
Kids loved all the onsite games and entertainment.
Short walk to beach over dunes.
Last minute family trip up to the North Coast. We were amazed by the quality outfit this place is. Nice food, pool, countless activities for the children! We will be back
Clean, spacious rooms, not too busy, good food selection for breakfast but disappointingly limited for evening meal. All facilities well looked after and fit for purpose. Standard of customer service delivered by the staff team was consistently high. Fantastic location with excellent access to Croyde beach. Obvious that real care has been taken to provide a high quality resort facility, ideal for families.

Good offerings for a family. Basic, no frills apartment.
Wasn’t keen on the bathroom facilities as the shower position was poor and didn’t allow for easy use.
Some of the bathroom facilities need updating- towel rail was rusted in some areas and the flooring was coming away on the sides.
We would go back but would like to see some modernising of the rooms.
Good breakfast and dinner menu. Food was nice.
The pool was a good size and well maintained
The surrounding gardens were immaculately kept.
Reception and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful.
Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie).
We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and respected by clients at the resort.
A really super weekend break I'd have stayed for much longer given the chance.
Great stay in general, with good facilities and friendly staff. The were a couple of things I wasn't satisfied with.
1. The shower head in my room was mounted in a way which meant you had to have the water pressure low or the water streamed out over the edge of the bath.
2. Having to wait until the pool opened to use the gym seemed ludicrous to me. I was visiting for a wedding, which meant my only opportunity to use the facilities was early in the morning, but seemingly as standard you can use neither the pool or gym until 9am.
3. The breakfast options seemed pretty poor given the price I had to pay on top of a not particularly cheap room rate. The full English selection and quality was good but the only fruit option when I visited seemed to be a bowl of grapefruit, and on one of the days I was there there were no yogurts or choice of pastries.
