“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“This historic cabin was just our style. Clean, charming, quiet, and comfortable. We thought check in was easy. Customer service was excellent. The kayaking was really fun! It's not necessarily for those needing to move around in the shower or bathroom. The beds are really comfy, and the loft is nice. Plenty of headroom. The only trick is getting down the ladder :). The hosts were gracious and communicative. Appreciate the coffee available as well. A must stay, if you don't mind tiny.”

“This house was so cute and beautifully decorated. Our family has several very tall people, and they hit their heads nearly every time they walked to the bathroom or out the door. That’s why I recommend this place for shorter people. I wouldn’t stay here if you have teenie walking toddlers. The stairs are steep.
