Top Brest Hotel Reviews

Hermitage Hotel

Hermitage Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The Hermitage Hotel in Brest certainly earns its stars. It is located very conveniently between the railway station and the city. Transfer from the railway station to the hotel is walkable but with luggage, a 6 BYN taxi is much more convenient. The hotel's front door opens automatically, useful when you are carrying a lot of luggage and the concierge is also very helpful for assisting with luggage. The room was clean and well equipped. We had to request a kettle but it arrived within minutes. Multiple languages are spoken so there was no problem with communication. The hotel has a classic feel, carpets and dark furniture and this comes across as charming. It is also worth mentioning that the lift is very quick without feeling of a funfair ride. Everything is very efficiently organised at this hotel, check-in was very fast and easy and we were in our room within 5 minutes of entering the hotel. The bathroom was classic but modern, everything worked as expected and the shower pressure was exceptionally impressive. The bed was 2 singles firmly fixed together and the mattresses were very comfortable. The pillows were a little on the soft side but this is down to personal preference, 4 pillows were provided. The room was comfortably carpeted and the windows opened on a tilt or fully open system. The heating was difficult to work out and there were no instructions that I could find, this was the only slightly negative point. Breakfast was very comprehensive and delicious."
